Wildwoodians, playing this Lowden F-50 is like injecting 100ccs of joy right into your veins! Aside from its exceptional beauty, the mastergrade koa body also gives this guitar a rich, sunny voice and a atmospheric sense of three-dimensional fullness that's easy to get lost it. It has a round, snappy attack that responds to your input with piano-like immediacy. The high end has a lovely sparkling cornucopia of overtones, and it jangles in a way that makes you want to park on the couch and strum chords for hours. The midrange and lows are warm, woody, and punchy, which helps this guitar sound supremely full-bodied yet balanced and articulate.

As a fingerstyle guitar, it's marvelous! It has excellent string separation despite its harmonic complexity, allowing for lots of subtle nuances and shades of tone to come through. As previously mentioned, it LOVES a flatpick, too. As a strummer, its jangliness imbues even basic chords with a lushness that, makes everything sound 10-15% cooler. Single-note lines also have plenty of weight and depth, making this serial a true all-terrain vehicle.

Though this guitar already sounds amazing, it will only sound better from here on out. Koa is known for "opening up" and sounding richer and richer as it receives more play time. So, it's a guitar that will grow with you as you invest more time in it--neat!
