One of the most accomplished multi-hyphenates of the 1940s and 1950s, she scored 28 hits with her musical partner Les Paul and became an icon of the screen through her countless TV and movie appearances. Even all these years later, her singing and guitar playing are awe-inspiring both for their emotional power and technically perfect execution.
