This limited edition offering from Fender Japan is a gorgeous guitar with superb handfeel and plenty of inspiring sounds on tap. Unlike a typical Stratocaster, which usually has an ash or alder body with lots of curves, the Aerodyne has lightweight basswood body with a beautiful flamed maple top with cream binding and more defined lines. It has a sharper look than a typical Strat, and it cuts and imposing yet dignified figure as a result.
