Condition Report

This koa stunner is in beautiful shape! It shows faint signs of normal use, and the frets show virtually zero wear. It has no cosmetic flaws to report, and it comes with its original hardshell case, too! 

Sonic Evaluation

This Artisan Tele features some truly splendid tonewood (an AAAA koa top and a roasted AAAA flamed maple neck), so it looks absolutely gorgeous. More importantly, the two Fender Custom P-90s are jam-packed with sweet sonic flavor. The bridge position has full frequency response across the board. The low mids have plenty of grunt, the highs are lush and sparkly, and the lows have a satisfying boom. In the neck position, and you can hear the upper mids quack above the strong foundation laid by the powerful low mids. The neck pickup's trebles are surprisingly rich and colorful, and the low-end is warm and clear. Both pickups showcase exceptional touch-sensitivity, and you can make the guitar punch in a more focused way by hitting harder. Overall, this is quite a balanced guitar, and it marries the P-90s' rich, midrange-forward tone with classic Tele snappiness perfectly. And, it looks good doing it! Anyone looking for a beautiful Fender equipped with P-90s will love this serial.
