I had never played a Powers Electric before picking this guitar up, and I hope i have the opportunity to do so many times in the future, because it absolutely stole my heart! Its acoustic resonance is jaw-dropping, and its tone is a new and exciting take on iconic American guitar tone. EQ-wise, it sounds like what would happen if you blended a Telecaster, Rickenbacker, and Les Paul Special into a delectable sonic smoothie. The pickups are super touch-sensitive, and they have incredibly impressive sustain. They have full frequency response across the board, yet they remain incredibly balanced. The bridge pickup is wonderfully snarly with excellent openness and sparkle, and the neck pickup is warm and woody with a smooth high-end.
