This monster '65 Martin 0-18 has some typical vintage wear, and has undergone a few surgeries over the years, but it responded the way Adrian Peterson responded to his ACL injury in full MVP form. It has been refretted at some point, and the neck has been reset---both look great! The frets show extremely light signs of wear and measure .080 inches by .035 inches. It has had a variety of repairs, many of which appear to have been performed by Martin in 2011 (the receipt in the case doesn't itemize the work done), the most noticeable of which is a crack by the treble-side lower bout, which has some reinforcement strips. It also shows the typical bumps and bruises we expect on a guitar of this vintage, and there are a few areas of more pronounced pick wear on the top. A few things are non-original: a previous owner installed an aftermarket strap button, the tuners look like modern Martin-branded Waverly tuners, and the nut and saddle are likely replacements, too. All in all, it's a mean vintage machine ready to take your acoustic adventures into the stratosphere! It also comes with a non-original hardshell case, too.
