Condition Report

This Guild F-212 from '72 puts the gorgeous sound of Brazilian rosewood on full display, and it has lived a long and storied life! It has clearly been played, but also loved. Both the finish and frets show light-to-moderate signs of use and wear, respectively. There are a handful of slightly larger dings and chips in the finish, and there's a repaired top crack by the pickguard. There are also some marks on the side of the headstock from a string winder (it's hard to blame someone for being in a while restring a 12-string!).

The neck has come forward over the years and various luthiers have sanded down the bridge to compensate. At this point, we can't really take the saddle down anymore. With a flat neck, the action sits at 3/32" on the treble side and 4/32" on the bass side, which is basically dreadnaught flatpicking action. It plays well at that height, and it sounds like a cannon! It comes with a non-original vintage chipboard case, too.
