Vintage 1950 L-48

Condition Report

This L-48 is in excellent shape for a 76-year-old guitar! It has some typical vintage bumps and bruises, including some awesome-lookign checking. There are a few hairline cracks on the side that look like they predate the Carter administration and appear to be very stable. The frets look original and measure .065" by .028" and are in great shape with very light wear. There's a little bit of a hump at the body joint, but it still plays quite well. The bridge, tailpiece, and pickguard appear to be original, although the pickguard bracket is a replacement. The tuners have been replaced, however. Most importantly, it sounds amazing! It comes with an aftermarket TKL hardshell case, too.
