Keb' Mo' is one of the most versatile music multi-hyphenates out there, and this third iteration of his signature Gibson acoustic is an absolute wooden titan worthy of bearing his name! Frankly, I could sit and play this guitar all day, and I may still do so if I can get away with it. Though it has plenty of power (it can get L O U D!), it's also one of the most responsive, touch-sensitive dreadnoughts I've ever played. It responds beautifully to a light touch with fingers or pick, and it's also a delight to flog away at some campfire chords.
With such a wide dynamic range, playing this serial feels divinely expressive. It fills the room with an almost atmospheric natural reverberance, and its warm, sweet tone makes it feel like an old friend you haven't met yet. The low-end is booming, the midrange is broad, warm, and expansive, and the high end has just the right amount of sparkle. If you're looking for a dreadnought with a remarkable capacity for subtlety and nuance that also excels at being a wooden cannon, check this guitar out!
