Into the End Zone for TD

Wildwoodians, this 1977 Gibson ES-345TD totally rules! The patent pickups are wired for stereo, and they sound glorious! Whenever a guitar arrives with honest playwear like this one, it's always an indicator of one thing: it's impossible to put down! The pickups do the classic Gibson semi-hollow sound beautifully, and they suit a wide variety of genres and playstyles. Our tech made a cable that allows you to run it mono into a regular amp, although the volume and tone affect both pickups like this. The middle position is also out-of-phase to create a wider sound when run in stereo, but sounds awesome in mono, too--total Peter Green vibes! Whether you want to explore stereo sound or run this bad boy mono, this guitar rips!

Condition Report

This '77 ES-345TD is in fantastic shape, and it appears to mostly original, too! It shows typical vintage wear along with a few areas with deeper wear spots and missing finish. All in all, it looks uber-cool--mojo for days! There is also a mark (likely from tape) on the bass-side of the top by the lower bout. The tuners are replacements and have unique bushings installed. The pickups, plastics, hardware, wiring harness, and pots all appear original, as do the frets, which have been re-crowned and measure about .110 inches by .034 inches. There is some checking and chipping in the binding by the frets ends, and the hardware has tarnished quite a bit (it looks super cool!). Also, a previous owner installed Schaller-style strap locks. It comes with its original hardshell case, too!
