Wildwoodians, we are proud to introduce the next chapter in former Fender Masterbuilder Levi Perry's journey: our first Gavilan guitar. Named after Levi's childhood home, Gavilan guitars are an expression of Levi Perry's singular vision. In his own words:

We've been impressed with Levi's guitars for years, so it's no surprise that the first Gavilan he sent us is a showstopper. Its acoustic resonance is jaw-dropping, which is always an indicator of a great guitar. The pickups are a perfect combo--a Lollar J63 in the neck and a P-90 in the bridge--and they complement one another beautifully. The bridge snarls, bites, and sparkle beautifully--a perfectly-sculpted muscular tone!--and the neck is warm, glassy, sweet, and vocal. Blending them together is like combining Nutella and peanut butter! All in all, it's an extremelly impressive guitar with superb articulation, touch-sensitivity, openness, and resonance. I have no doubt you'll love it as much as I do!
