Finished entirely in All Double Gold and Light Aged by the Murphy Lab, this exceptional Les Paul captures the look, sound, and feel of a treasured original from Gibson’s first Golden Age.

Its solid mahogany body and carved maple top deliver the resonance and sustain that define the Les Paul experience, complemented by a Light Aged nitrocellulose lacquer finish that introduces subtle checking, gentle wear, and the unmistakable presence of a guitar that has lived onstage for decades. The gold finish extends beyond the body and top, carried through to the hardware for a refined, cohesive aesthetic not typically seen on 1956 Les Paul Reissues. From the ABR 1 Tune O Matic bridge to the Stop Bar tailpiece, every metallic detail gleams in gold, providing a distinctive appearance that sets this model firmly apart.

A mahogany neck carved to a 1950s Chunky D Profile offers a confident, period-correct feel, paired with a rosewood fingerboard featuring single-ply binding, aged cellulose trapezoid inlays, and narrow/tall frets that invite articulate bends and expressive phrasing. The long neck tenon construction ensures exceptional resonance and stability, allowing the guitar to ring with remarkable clarity and authority.

At the heart of its tone are two P-90 single-coil pickups, delivering the dynamic response, vocal midrange, and touch sensitivity that defined the early Les Paul models. Whether pushed into rich, harmonically saturated overdrive or dialed back for shimmering cleans, these P 90s respond instantly to the nuances of the player’s hands.
