This rarely seen Martin 0000-38 from NAMM is an unspeakably powerful wooden steed that speaks with tremendous authority and power! It has big, bold, rich low-end, a surprisingly complex, full-bodied midrange, and gorgeous sparkling trebles. It has tons of volume and headroom, too--perhaps not enough to kill a banjo, but definitely enough to maim. It's also quite responsive, but with a stoutness to the attack that keeps it from splatting out even if you have a sledgehammer for a right hand like me. And, it also has a softer side--that responsiveness really comes through when you play delicate fingerpicked passages.
