This serial has opened up beautifully from frequenct play over the years, which has given it a wonderfully open, woody, inviting sounds. Though it has that signature Taylor sparkle, it has a rich, complex midrange and punchy, piano-like low-end to complement it and balance it out. It also has tons of volume on tap with loads of headroom, so its projecting power is enviable. Thought it's still a bright guitar overall, it's one of the warmest, woodiest, most open-sounding Taylors I've ever played, and if I had my druthers I'd be taking it home with me tonight. Alas, I can't take every guitar I love, but I can find some consolation in knowing that some lucky Wildwoodian will love it as much as I do!

Condition Report

This Taylor 510 has clearly been played but also lovingly maintained! The finish shows typical vintage wear: awesome-looking checking, small dings, chips, and scratches, the most noticeable of which are on the butt of the guitar. The frets show light wear, and they measure .078 inches by .037 inches. A previous owner installed a strap button, too. It comes with an SKB molded case, too!
