It has a wonderfully lively voice dripping with harmonic content, and it's super touch-sensitive and dynamic. Both pickups are very vocal--almost like a seven foot-tall 'roided-up, angry Strat! The bridge pickup snarls viciously, but the sparkling, chiming high-end balances out with the bite (there's some heft to the lows, too!). The neck pickup is throaty and fat-sounding, with a warm, dry, woody character and plenty of lows to go with broad midrange and sweet highs. All positions have that extra bit of bite and growl that are the hallmarks of a Bigsby-equipped guitar, too.

If you're looking for a monster Goldtop, take this serial for a spin!

Condition Report

This '68 reissue Les Paul is in tip-top shape! It sounds amazing, and it has just a few small cosmetic imperfections. A previous owner converted it to having a Bigsby tailpiece using the Vibramate, but the original stopbar and studs are in the case and we can convert it back if you'd like. They are some key marks on the treble-side waist area, a few small dings on the back, a little bit of discoloration by the nut (likely from a stand), and some light scratches on the headstock face. The frets show extremely light wear and are in fantastic condition. It comes with its original hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity, too!
