The headstock has a 70s MIJ shape, a bone nut, smooth-turning, precise Epiphone Deluxe tuners with metal buttons, and an Epiphone logo inlaid in mother-of-pearl. The three-ply bound rosewood fretboard features mother-of-pearl rounded-corner block inlays and 20 standard frets. It is attached to the body with a glued-in dovetail joint. The belly down rosewood bridge is outfitted with a compensated bone saddle and black bridge pins. It is inlaid with the outline of South Carolina, the home state of Marcus King, and the Tri-Star emblem of Tennessee in mother-of-pearl.
