Fender American Vintage Thin Skin 1964 Telecaster
The Sound of SilverAttention, Telecaster aficionados of the Wildwoodiverse! Please, get on your feet and give a warm welcome to the newest member of our Thin Skin line: the 1964 Telecaster in Inca Silver. When this prototype arrived, all work in the shop came to a screeching halt as we crowded around the case and got in line to play it. Can you blame us? This drool-inducing finish looks absolutely spectacular with a rosewood board and a 3-ply mint pickguard.
Also, it features the same crazy-comfortable neck, modern ergonomic appointments like 6105 frets and a 9.5" radius, and Custom Shop Twisted Tele pickups as our Vintage White '64s. So, it still has the spectacular mixture of vintage vibe and modern playability that Thin Skins are renowned for. And, of course, it has a real fifties-style thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, so it breathes and resonates like our favorite vintage Fenders. We are so proud to showcase such an inspiring instrument, and we cannot wait for you to experience the latest chapter in our storied history of collaboration with the guitar-building wizards at Fender.
