This blonde bombshell is a pitch-perfect example of a Sunny, Gilmour-esque Stratocaster. In all pickup positions, you'll find touch-sensitive, vocal midrange response. When you dig in (which is a joy thanks to the percussive, woody, articulate attack), you get lots of bite and snarl. When you ease off, the mids broaden and become smoother. The low-end is present but not overpowering, and the highs have lots of nice blooming, chiming overtones. Though you could certainly live out your wildest Pink Floyd fantasies with this guitar, anyone who digs brighter Strat sounds will love this serial!
The NOS finish on this guitar is virtually untouched except for one check by the neck plate on the back. Other than that, this fly '57 is in glorious condition. If you can look past that one cosmetic flaw, you can score a killer Strat for a great price!
