Marshall Amps 2525H Studio Mini Silver Jubilee
Celebrate Good Times
Celebration. Party. Carnival. Festival. Jamboree. These are all synonyms for the word "jubilee," and they're also all accurate descriptors for the joyous group of Wildwood employees that gathered around the Marshall Studio Mini Silver Jubilee when we plugged it in for the first time. You can hardly blame us for being excited, because the Silver Jubilee is one of the most legendary heads in the history of rock and roll. Originally designed to commemorate Marshall's twenty-fifth anniversary, the Silver Jubilee quickly became a collector's item because of its rarity, sweet sound, and stylish looks. Other than a limited run of Slash Jubilees in '96, the Silver Jubilee remained out of production until 2015 when it made a triumphant return. Now, our friends at Marshall have created a Studio Mini version of these vaunted amps, and they have managed to pack all the joyous Jubilee tone into a portable twenty-watt package.
Finding all the sweet tones hiding in the EL34 tubes of the Silver Jubilee is quite easy thanks to its simple two-channel design. It has a 3-band EQ with a wide sweep that allows you to dial in everything from punchy midrange-forward tones to scooped sounds with sizzling trebles and earth-shaking low-end. The Silver Jubilee is best known for its dirt settings, but its clean channel is quite delectable. It can do warm, sweet cleans beautifully as well as jangly, chiming tones, and its pushed clean tone is a sparkling delight. If you want a bit more crunch on the clean channel, you can pull the Input Gain out to get a wonderful vintage crunch.
Using the included footswitch, you can flip over to the dirty channel and get every variety of high-octane Marshall overdrive from Slash-approved creamy thickness to classic rock snarl to chug-tastic hard rock tones to full-on high-gain metal. At all gain levels, it responds just like its hundred-watt big brother, so it sounds organic and full-bodied. In other words, the Mini Silver Jubilee gives you the full range of Marshall sound, making it a tremendously versatile creative tool.
Of course, our friends at Marshall are all about giving players what they need, so the Mini Silver Jubilee comes equipped with several features that make life easier for six-string slingers. You can drop the wattage from twenty to five if you need to get true tube crunch at lowers volumes, and it has a DI output and an effects loop to ensure that you get great tone in any situation.
We're proud to showcase the Marshall 2525H Studio Mini Silver Jubilee, and we think you'll agree that its killer tone and iconic style are cause for celebration. So, we invite you to plug in to one, crank the volume, and let the good times roll!
