Wildwoodians, we are proud to present the latest limited edition offering from our friends at Fender Japan: the HM Strat. With a design that harkens back to the heyday of heavy metal, the HM Strat looks like a lean, mean rock and roll machine and a classic at the same time. Let's dive a little bit deeper and see how it carries on the proud legacy of the super Strat!

Speaking of classics, the HM Strat feels as good in your hand as Thor's hammer, and its fast feel will have you riding the lightning in no time. Its 25.1" scale-length is a bit shorter than a typical Fender, which reduces string tension for a slinkier handfeel while maintaining strong articulation. Also, it makes the fret spacing smaller, allowing for easier stretches across big intervals. That slightly-shorter neck has a 17" radius, which makes string-bending ridiculously easy and gives you the ability to set the action nice and low. Finally, its 24 jumbo frets give you plenty of room for musical expression while also facilitating easy bending.

The Fender HM Strat also sounds like a gjallarhorn ringing out from the highest peak in Valhalla! Which is to say, it sounds just right for all things aggressive: hard rock, punk, all forms of metal, classic rock, and even gutsy blues! Its three HM pickups have enough punching power for all manners of muscular music while maintaining the subtlety and articulation that Fender guitars are known for. And, it has a glorious Floyd Rose locking tremolo system, so you can dive bomb and make harmonics squeal to your heart's content.
