So you missed St. Patrick’s Day and didn’t get all the gold you wanted? Well, here’s your chance to snag some extra loot! For our most recent Left of the Dial deal, we have a Wildwood Spec 54 LP Standard. This guitar is a beaut and sounds even better than it looks. It does have a small cosmetic issue on it’s butt end, but who doesn’t after chasing leprechauns all St. Patty’s Day? Outside of that, the guitar is incredibly clean and has no issues with sound or playability. The P90s provide snarl and bite, perfect for when you need to play along with “Zombie”. Head on over to our Reverb page to check out this one and maybe you’ll have some luck of Irish on your side!
McCartney and Lennon. Hall and Oates. The Edge and his delay pedal. All of these musical partnerships have brought beautiful noises into the world, but there’s a new dynamic duo in town ready to shake things up: Wildwood Guitars and the Gibson Custom Shop. Make no mistake, I love Hall and Oates, but I sincerely think that THIS Custom Shop ’58 ES-335s is at least as awesome as the song “Rich Girl.”
Head on over to our New Arrivals page and check out Serial A840298 and learn about other phenomenal ES-335 we have in stock. Happy #wednESday everyone!

Interested? Drop us an email or call the shop for more information on Serial R117304 . Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone!
We could talk all day about Johnny A.’s skill as a guitarist (he was in the Yardbirds, after all!), but let’s take a moment and focus on his impeccable taste in signature models! This Fender Custom Shop Artist Series Johnny A. Strat is no exception—it’s cooler than the underside of a pillow on Pluto. It’s a combination of Johnny’s favorite features from his preferred model years (‘63-‘66) like an authentic ‘65 C neck along with some player-friendly customized appointments like a custom-wound bridge pickup with wider, more energetic response, Strat blender wiring, and medium jumbo frets. All in all, it sounds and feels like a hot-rodded vintage instrument tailored perfectly for the stage by an inveterate tinkerer, a vibe only enhanced by the sweet Time Capsule Sunset Glow Metallic Finish. If you’re looking for a powerful Strat with a fresh, exciting vintage-inspired personality, you should take this serial for a spin! Head on over to our Reverb page for more details on Serial JA0161. Happy #FenderFriday everyone.
Wildwoodians, are you down with the Rickness?!? We hope so, because we’re running a seismic sale on some of our favorite Rickenbacker guitars and basses—you might say that these deals are off the Rick-ter Scale! Everything from the 4003 to the 330 to the 1993Plus is on sale for a limited time at an awesome value, and we’re really excited about it because Rickenbackers are close to our hearts here at Wildwood. They’re iconic instruments, sure, but they also have a certain magical quality to them that makes our heartstrings jangle (or thump and growl, in the case of the basses). We’re excited to share these instruments with you wonderful Wildwoodians, and we invite you to check out our Rickenbacker page to see how you can get down with the Rickness!
A lot of important stuff happened in 1958, but with apologies to fans of the Montreal Canadiens (who won the Stanley Cup that year), nothing was more important than the birth of the Gibson ES-335–in our biased view, anyway! That’s why we’re so excited to present the new limited edition 1958 ES-335 Reissue from the Murphy Lab. Limited to just 130 pieces worldwide, this spectacular run of guitars pays tribute to the original guitars that shook the world of music. Like their vintage counterparts, they have a gloriously chunky ‘58 rounded neck profile that is utterly addictive, and an unbound fretboard—two features that were only present on ‘58 models. Of, course, they captured the sweet sounds of vintage Gibsons too thanks to the Custombucker pickups. Classic PAF tone mixed with an acoustic-like responsivenes? If that sounds like sonic nirvana, it is! If you’re looking for a special semi-hollow, we have no doubt these ‘58 reissues will become your new musical sweetheart.
We don’t need no education. We don’t need no thought control. But we could use some birthday cake and about 800ms of delay. The English guitarist, singer and songwriter turns 78 today. Happy birthday, David! What’s your favorite Gilmour track?
Wildwoodians: what do you get when you cross a Custom Shop top with an Original Collection Les Paul? Why, the new Les Paul Standard Custom Shop top, of course! Available in ‘50s or ‘60s models, the Custom Shop Top LPs feature jaw-dropping cuts of maple normally reserved for Gibson’s Custom Shop instruments. Each serial from this run of guitars has its own distinct personality and style (they’re like snowflakes—no two are alike), so there’s a Custom Shop Top LP for everyone! They’re also sonic titans thanks to their ‘59 Tribute pickups, which deliver vintage PAF tone with aplomb. If you’re interested in any of the four Lesters above specifically, their serials are as follows: the Dark Cherry cutie is 20540243, the Bourbon Burst bombshell is 200540272, the hot Honey Burst is 201140154, and the lovely Lemon Burst is 202340032. Head on over to our New Arrivals page before the first batch is gone to see the wondrous feast our friends at Gibson have cooked up for you!
