PRS Guitars SE Santana
SmoothYou'd be hard-pressed to find an artist and a builder more intertwined than Carlos Santana and Paul Reed Smith. Back when Paul was just establishing himself in the eighties by sneaking his way backstage and thrusting his guitars into the hands of rock stars, Carlos recognized his genius in lutherie and became the first high-profile artist to tote a PRS on stage. That was the first of many collaborations between the two masters, and their storied shared history is one for the ages; in fact, Carlos's influence directly led to the development of the SE series.
Speaking of which, this SE Santana model is a spectacular example of the craftsmanship we associate with the SE line. Its classic maple/mahogany body gives it a full-bodied sound with plenty of sustain, and the Santana S humbuckers have the sort of robust frequency response that will motivate you to play for hours and hours. And, its Wide Fat neck profile and medium-jumbo fretwire give it the sort of vintage feel that will have you summoning the spirits of Woodstock as you make big bends and chord effortlessly.
We're proud to present the SE Santana, and we know you will be amazed at the way it captures the mojo and magic of the Santana sound.
