We've been impressed by the quality of PRS's SE line for some time now, and this model is a marvelous example of their excellent craftsmanship. It has a maple top and back with a gorgeous flamed veneer, so it's quite articulate and snappy, with excellent top-end chime. And, its mahogany sides give it a touch of punch and midrange warmth. This delectable unamplified voice works beautifully with the pair of 58/15 S humbuckers to create a robust, responsive, dynamic sound. The SE Hollowbody II is also a delight to play because of its light weight and uber-comfortable wide fat neck profile.
