Used 2023 Gibson Custom Shop 1957 Les Paul Custom – VOS
A Killer Custom
When the first Les Paul Custom was born in 1954, the mountains shook and the heavens trembled at its awesome might and power (we might be embellishing here, but only slightly). The Les Paul Custom shook up the musical world when it arrived because it has such an alluring combination of raw muscle and elegant, stately styling. In a way, it’s like the six-string equivalent of James Bond: sure, it might look fancy, but don’t blink, because it’s deadly and it has a license to kill.
The Les Paul Custom has undergone many changes since 1954, and this particular serial represents it in its original form: an elegant murdered-out beast. We have no doubt this fly '57 will inspire you to wander the fretboard for hours on end!
Condition Report
This '57 LP Custom reissue is in fabulous shape! Its frets look fantastic, and it has only a few small area of cosmetic imperfection. There are a few light fingernail marks by the bridge wheels and control knobs, a teeny tiny ding at the bass side of the middle pickup, and a small ding and scuff mark on the back by the lower bout. Other than that, there's nothing to report, and it comes with its original hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity from the Gibson Custom Shop.
