1968 Vintage Gibson SG
Condition of InstrumentVery cool late 60's SG Special. This guitar has a pick guard with non original PAT T top bobbin sticker pickups from an SG Standard. The original trem tailpiece has been removed and the holes filled. The body was not routed for the pickup change. We do not have any of the original parts. This guitar has no breaks or damage. The frets are in great shape. The neck is a slim taper but with slightly more girth. Missing the original plastic swith tip. Comes with a new reissue. Truss rod cover screw missing. Non original screws on the back plate. This is a lot of guitar for the money! Play it as is, or put it back to P90s!!
Tonal EvaluationThe guitar came with P-90s originally. These humbuckers are what this tone machine needed. It has a great Dickey Betts tone that is very touch sensitive and very dynamic. A great guitar for slide also.
