This 2004 PRS Custom 22 has a rich, sonorous voice dripping with harmonic content. Each note sounds as fat and rich as a T-bone steak, and chords have crushing weight. The bridge pickup sounds sparkly in the highs, boomy in the mids, and muscular in the lows. The neck pickup sounds wooly as fourteen mammoths in the bass register, broad and open in the midrange, and sweet and sugary in the highs. And, the 5-way selector allows you to dial in some really nice thinner, quackier single coil-type sounds. If you're looking for a fat-sounding PRS, this Custom 22 will get the job done with aplomb!
This PRS Custom 22 is in amazing shape, especially considering that it's fifteen years old! It shows only extremely light signs of play wear. The hardware has accumulated some scratches and tarnished slightly, and there are some small dings on the back edge and side near the input jack. Finally, there is some finish disruption near the nut. If you can overlook these small issues, you can snag a truly beautiful instrument at an exceptional value! It also comes with a sturdy black PRS hardshell case.
