It's TrickyWildwoodians, we are proud to present the Reverend Trickshot. Based on their iconic Charger body platform, the Trickshot is a modern update on the classic T-style guitars of yesteryear. Its offset body has a sweet retro-futuristic look, and its tone is an excellent marriage of modern clarity and heat and vintage twang and sparkle.
The starting point for the Trickshot's sonic equation is its korina body. Korina is an African tree that shares many characteristics with mahogany: warmth, midrange punch, roundness, and evenness. However, it has a livelier response, and it is more harmonically complex (especially in the high-end).
Two of Reverend's Talnico single-coils expound upon the body's spectacular unamplified tone. The bridge pickup has brawny, warm midrange punch to go with chiming highs and muscular lows, while the neck pickup has a smooth, throaty sound. Both are great for rock, metal, and blues. Rolling off Reverend's world-renowned bass contour knob gives you a tighter, brighter sound well-suited to indie jangle and country twang. Even though the Trickshot has simple electronics, it is quite versatile, and it sounds at home in a wide variety of genres.
Power to the PlayerReverend has kitted out the Trickshot with a metric ton of appointments that enhance the player's experience and make it supremely reliable. The medium oval neck profile is home to 22 medium-jumbo frets and a fingerboard with a 12" radius, a configuration well-suited to most techniques and playing styles (and, it's especially good for bending strings). Also, it has pin-lock tuners and a Boneite nut to ensure excellent tuning stability, and it comes equipped with boutique-quality pots and caps and a Pure Tone jack for consistent sound. Finally, an angled six-bolt neck plate increases stability and resonance while allowing easy access to the upper frets.
