Wildwoodians, we are proud to present the Rick Vito Soulshaker, a supremely sweet single-cut with remarkable tone and feel. Rick Vito has made a name for himself as a sideman and a solo artist, and his soulful brand of blues has enlivened recordings by everyone from Bob Seger to Albert Collins to Dolly Parton. He was also part of a little-known indie rock band you probably haven't heard called Fleetwood Mac!

Rick's signature Reverend befits his stellar reputation. It has a chambered korina body, which has similar punchiness, warmth, and balance to mahogany. The chambers also give it plenty of openness and three-dimensionality while imparting a bit of acoustic-like touch-sensitivity. And, to top it off, it has a SOLID maple top, which offers superior resonance while giving the guitar's articulation and clarity a boost.

The two Alnico 5 Reverend humbuckers sound absolutely glorious, too. Though they have full-bodied, robust frequency response, they sound quite sculpted, and they have superlative balance. For all manners of rock music and blues, they work beautifully, but they'll handle business with aplomb in every genre from jazz to country. And, it has a Bigsby vibrato unit for expressive bending!

The Rick Vito Soulshaker also has lots of player-friendly appointments that make it imminently gig-worthy. It has a three-piece korina neck for stability with a medium oval shape that fits in your palm beautifully. The ebony fretboard looks sweet and plays fast, and it has a 12" radius and medium jumbo frets for optimum playability. Also, every component from the jack plate to the pots to the caps has been selected to maximize the Soulshaker's dependability and sound quality.
