Reverend Manta Ray 390 - New From NAMM
First Rays of the New Rising SunWildwoodians, we are pleased to introduce the Manta Ray 390: a semi-hollow with fresh, exciting voice and limitless versatility. It features a semi-hollow korina body with a maple top, which gives it a warm, articulate, woody unamplified sound with a lovely open, chiming high end. When you do plug in, three Alnico 5 P-90s present an incredible array of inspiring sounds. The bridge pickup snarls and chimes, the middle pickup sounds full with plenty of woody midrange punch, and the neck pickup is thick and warm. If you want a little more brightness, you can use the bass contour knob to dial in more chime and quack. With just three knobs and a 5-way switch, you can dial up almost any tone under the sun!
Of course, every Reverend comes decked to the nines with player-friendly appointments, and the Charger RA is no different. It has a comfy medium oval neck profile, a 12" fretboard radius, and medium jumbo frets for optimum handfeel. It also has pin-lock tuners and boutique-quality components like pots and caps in order to ensure reliable performance. We're proud to showcase this mighty Manta, and we can't wait to see how it inspires you!
