A Double-00 Monster

Wildwoodians, this 00-28 packs a lot of tone into a very comfortable package! In general, the 00-28 is a versatile, inspiring beast. Played fingerstyle, it has remarkable depth and richness for a small body size, and that smaller body also maximizes responsiveness for a wonderfully expressive playing experience. If you're more of a pick player, that same responsiveness will captivate you and bring out new depths in each note. And, it'll jangle like nobody's business if you like to dig in and strum chords--a great tone for recording!

This serial has a solid Sitka spruce top, which provides a nice even blend between the fundamental note and its harmonics. And boy howdy, the Honduran rosewood back and sides are something special! To put it scientifically, Honduran rosewood rules. It's denser and has a lower damping factor than East Indian rosewood, which gives it uncommonly lush, detailed, three-dimensional tone. And, the Adirondack spruce braces give a boost to its headroom and punching power.
