Condition of Instrument

This beautiful Lowden was originally sold by Wildwood Guitars and is in excellent condition! The only things to mention are there is a very tiny bit of shrinking of laminates on the back of the neck, this is not a visual thing, but you can feel a little unevenness. There is also a tiny ding on the back of the neck, right behind the 9th fret. You will also notice a natural burnishing around the pickguard area from playing, it gives this area a more gloss look than satin. Includes the original hardshell case.

Tonal Evaluation

This beautiful Alex De Grassi signature model is one of most vibrant, full, warm (!!!) and responsive maple guitars we've had in the shop, period. I'm shocked by the low-end power on this guitar and how effortlessly it combines clarity and warmth. It's an *outstanding* solo fingerstyle jazz flattop and an equally great instrument for flatpick and contemporary fingerstyle as well. This guitar is a shining example of what maple can be in gifted hands and we're extremely excited to have it in the shop!!
