James Tyler Studio Elite – Burning Water
Serial Number Video
I am going to have to stay late today because I couldn't put this Studio Elite down and I am now behind on all my work, but I am absolutely fine with that because it was totally worth it. The two two-single-coil pickups are remarkably articulate, and they capture every detail of your pick attack. They have a hot-rodded Hendrixian vibe: lots of golden-hued overtones in the highs, vocal, chewy midrange, and round, glassy lows. But, they seem like they have a bit of extra heat and sizzle, which is a cool sound! The bridge bucker is also quite articulate, has plenty of snarl and punch in the midrange. Its bass response has just the right blend of muscle and gristle, and the highs sizzle like nobody's business. Anyone looking for a versatile HSS guitar with classic pickup voicings will love this serial!
