James Tyler Studio Elite HD
Sonic EvaluationWhat sort of diet do aliens eat if their guano is turning out this color? Perhaps space food has more exotic colors than Earth cuisine? Musings about extraterrestrial scat aside, let's talk about how amazing this Alien Guano-colored Studio Elite HD sounds!
Overall, this guitar has a sunny, scooped sound with lots of warm low end, quacking midrange, and chiming highs. In other words, it will do a mean David Gilmour impersonation, but it has so much more to offer than Floyd fantasy fulfillment. The neck pickup is throaty and warm, with a glassy high end and booming lows. In the middle position, you get more chime and sparkle in the highs, tighter bass response, and more cut in the mids. Finally, the bridge humbucker puts out muscular low end, singing highs, and punchy, woody midrange.
When you engage the mid boost, this serial's voice changes significantly. Normally, it has a slight smiley-face EQ, but it turns to a rock and roll frown when you dime the mid boost (though the punchy, powerful tone will certainly bring a smile to your face!). Basically, you can use the active electronics to toggle between the two classic S-style sounds (woody midrange punchy and scooped sparkly quack). So, this is one heck of a versatile guitar!
We're proud to showcase such an inspiring instrument for our exceptional customers. Anyone searching for a eye-catching guitar with sweet sonics will love this Studio Elite HD!
