Gibson 2019 Explorer B-2
Paint it BlackIt is a universally accepted scientific truth that pointy guitars are extremely cool, and the Explorer B-2 from Gibson's 2019 line sits in a throne made of Jazz IIIs atop Pointy Guitar Mountain as the coolest of them all. It cuts an imposing figure thanks to its black satin paint job and blacked-out hardware, and its aesthetic is as earthy and menacing as an early Black Sabbath record. If I were a betting man, I'd wager that the Grim Reaper plugs one of these Explorers into a Laney Superlead when he wants to blow off steam.
Speaking of plugging in: WOW do these Dirty Fingers ever scream! They are perfectly suited to just about any variety of heavy or hard music, and they're positively delightful for crunchy classic rock. The bridge pickup has plenty of sizzle in the highs to go with snarling, biting mids and tight lows. By contrast, the neck pickup has thick, wooly low-end to go with thumping low mids and glassy, cutting highs.
These Explorer B-2s are unstoppable riff machines capable of laying waste to all who dare oppose their rock and roll mission, and we are sure they will compel you to rock out for years to come!
