James Tyler Studio Elite HD
Serial Number Video
This Red Shmear Studio Elite HD has a red and gold finish fit for a king! It also sounds positively regal, thanks to its spectacularly articulate low end and lush high end resonance. I understand why James Tyler calls the bridge pickup their "Secret" humbucker, because I would zealously guard a secret this juicy, too! Its frequency response reminds me of a killer wide-range humbucker from an old Tele Deluxe: airy and open, but very touch-sensitive with lots of room for snap and aggression on the front end if you want it to growl. The middle pickup has some serious midrange push, with tight lows and brilliant, chiming highs. The neck pickup has lots of pillowy low mids, warm bass, and a transparent, clear high end. Anyone seeking a James Tyler with regal style and rock and roll sound will love this serial!
